The One Where It’s Been Too Long

I missed you guys…

Well, I mean no one really read this regularly so that’s an issue. But I missed writing to you (nobody).

The MLB Season is off and before we know it the sights sounds and smells of October will be here narrowing the teams down to 10 –> 8 –> 4 –> 2 –> 1

I am a Red Sox fan and I’m sure any returning readers know that.

Any baseball fans will know by now that the Sox lost to the Tigers in a walk off. But what you might not know is that the Boston media is going nuts because it wasn’t picture perfect.

I know we like to jump on and off the Red Sox or any team in the blink of an eye. But in the first 24 hours of the season to freak out the way they have been is a little much.

Sure Bobby Valentine isn’t the best fit for the Sox. Sure the relief pitching is a toss up right now. Sure they need to sign Elsbury, Pedroia, and Lester. But guys, they played against Justin Verlander. The most dominant pitcher in the game right now.

Justin Verlander pitched the way everyone thought. Jon Lester did the same, and the Tigers won. Let’s leave it at that and then see where this ball club can go. With Bobby V and the media on them all year as it is, it’ll make a tough year for many of the players.

Just because Bobby V is as crazy as the media doesn’t mean they should run him out of town.

Let’s just play ball and hope for another title.
