Thursday is Bruins day, so here we go!
Now, despite BleacherReport’s latest entry I am still thinking the Bruins could’ve used Alexander Semin.
Yes, they stated he’s not a “Claude” player, but with the entire team in Claude’s philosophy he’d have to fit in. He would too, I would match him up with Patrice Bergeron and get him to guide Semin and his play in order to make that line function.
Anyway, I can’t talk and dream about a dangerous Semin anymore (thanks bleacherreport!).
I’ll turn my attention to the issue of Nathan Horton. A touchy subject seeing as it looks like a Crosby case; flirting with coming back and then setbacks and nervousness fluttering around the Horton camp. I think we need him to come back. What’s our first line with out him?
Not much, a streaky line of Krejci, Lucic and Peverley.
Nate, we need you! We don’t only need him, we are going to rely on him helping us. The three of them are all streaky players, but if there’s three of them they can’t all be streaky right?
Plus we are going to need Horton on the powerplay, if he can help us there, because boy do we need help there.
We need a sniper somehow.
Let’s see Horton come back and do this!
